Seven dont do a bad job for this. you cant ask much more from FTA. best 2 matches will be Australians in the early rounds, before switching to CC matches later in the week.

Think Konta will have a deep run, if she gets a good draw.

Does anyone rate Thiem or Goffin on grass?
Goffin made the 4th round last year and with an improved seeding he will match that result or improve on it the way he is playing. He's lost 1st round twice, but that was to Murray and Tsonga, so hardly surprising.

Thiem has only played Wimbledon twice and lost 1st round and 2nd round. His game is much more suited to clay and a lesser extent hard courts. So I'm not sure how well he will do here, even though he will be seeded inside the top 10.

Fox Sports have been saying up to 7 courts live coverage so we should be pretty well covered this year, might not even have to use bbc iplayer but we'll see.

That's it. The ad on Fox Sports sounds really positive for Wimbledon coverage.
Tried to find out more on their website but nothing up yet

Novak clear favourite to take this out, he's better on the grass than clay even. Would love to see Fed vs Djoker though, Fed's the one that seems to give Novak trouble with his variety. Dark horse is Kyrgios.. if he gets a decent draw he can do some damage. I think he'll make it to the quarters at least, sneaky chance to get to a semi. Hopefully he's seeded in the top 16. His favourite surface and his game is suited to a tee to grass. The flat backhand won't sit up like on clay and he'll be able to flatten out his forehand. I'd back him to beat pretty much everyone in the draw apart from Murray and Novak on grass (would be great to see a Novak vs Nick match up though, Nick always seems to lose 1 match before the matchup!). Maybe not Fed at grand slam level either at this stage but Roger will be underdone so who knows. Nick matches up well with Rafa, on grass especially so if he does get a top 4 seed hopefully it's Rafa in his section.

Raonic has no chance IMO, he's been in shit form since being injured for most of last year. Thiem won't do anything on grass.

That's if Rafa plays. His wrist injury seems to be something that'll keep him out for a while. Apparently it could have 'broken' if he continued playing.

.

he should have made the final at the AO, and he won Brisbane(?). then he got injured again and only just returned to IW?Miami (sidenote, is there a word for this leg of the tour)

clay is not his surface, so we dont really know what his form is. despite all that i written, i do agree with u. i dont think Grass is Raonic best surface(despite a semi final a couple of years ago) and i dont think he can win.

Novak is probably more likely to lose a match to a lesser player on one of his off days, than Fed/Nadal and perhaps Murray.

We won't know nick's seeding til the week before the tournament but is there a system of how they work it out?

The men's seeding order is determined using the formula: ATP Entry System Position points (at Monday before Wimbledon) + 100% points earned for all grass court tournaments in the past 12 months + 75% points earned for the best grass court tournament in the 12 months before that.

The women are seeded as per the WTA rankings unless the seeding committee of the club specifically intervenes if they believe that there is some imbalance in the order based on the players’ current or past grasscourt success.

Over a 5 set match its been years since fed can go with Novak. Classic heart over head post.

No surprise to hear that. With the Olympics coming up and the opportunity to be a 2-time Olympic singles champion, I don't blame him.

Djoko will probably face Kyrgios at Boodles (Wimby warm-up exhibition tournament). It's what the crowd would want anyway.
