my darkie for the women's is sharapova, she's looking very good. oh, and she's playing well too.
on another note, i want to highlight my hatrid and disgust for (some) americans. why? well there have now been at least four instances of stupid americans accusing Karolina Sprem of cheating in the 2nd set tiebreak against Venus Williams. you either know what happened or you don't.
Serena Williams: "As a competitor and a professional you should be able to distinguish between right and wrong. So if I were in that situation, I know I would make the right choice. "
Andy Roddick: "Personally I'd have trouble just taking a point from someone. I've heard no one noticed but if it's the biggest match of your life, I'm figuring you know what the score is. But I'd have a real issue just pretending nothing was wrong and just taking the point."
The other two instances were some discussion on the cable channel Fox News that accused Sprem of cheating and saying that it was her first opportunity to beat a top 10 player, and she'd do whatever she had to do to win.
And lastly, some discussion on ESPN's Pardon the Interruption.
So, to all Americans that think you deserve everything to go your way, be it in wars or sport or whatever else you think you rule the world in, go and get you know what.

Here's a pretty safe prediction: Henman to lose in the semi-final against Roddick in four sets.

Sprem wins again. Maybe she cheated
Sharapova will make the final, and hopefully win it.

Definitely prefer Andy Roddick over Federer for many reasons.
But as much as I want Andy to win, the reality is that he most likely will not. BUGGER!
