windows 98 upgrade

got a HP pavillion with windows 98 floating around....whats the chance of upgrading it to windows7?? is it worth it or should i bin it? even cash converters wont look at it LOL

Unlesss you want to strip the thing and replace every piece of hardware including the motherboard, you have no chance.

I doubt something like that would have the neccessary HDD space to install the OS, nor near enough RAM to run it.

Could have a chance of getting XP on it but i cant see much point because it would run so slow compaired to other pcs u use it would drive you nuts to go on it

You could put a lite version of Linux on it and just use it as a machine for web browsing.
