To be honest, I wouldn't be too unhappy. West Coast played pretty well yesterday, they always seem to do that after a derby, You really were beaten in the first half when you couldn't get your hands on the ball, but when you did, you were trying to slow it down, and I don't think you guys had the composure to do this although your pressure on the ball carrier was good, had it been another team it would have been over at half time. I was at the game, and I was really impressed with your younger players in Dempsey, Jetta & Ryder especially, Ryder tore Hansen a new one, but then again, so did Hansen.

In the second half, I really thought you guys were going to snatch it, you couldn't miss, any shot you had was straight through the centre. When you guys run, you play an exciting brand of footy, it was really good to see that, It means there is an exciting future for the essendon footy club.
In the second half, you were reading the ball off Cox pretty well, which is good to see, the midfield stood up for you guys.
