Carlton fans would agree you need pace in the midfield and thats what wirra would bring to your club and much more. Rumors are he wants to return to Melbourne to be close to his sick Mother, so considering all this how about this trade:

CARLTON GET : Wirrapunda and haynes OR a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick

WESTCOAST GET: pick no.2

We'll be ripped off - Wirra by himself is worth more than 2nd draft pick

Furthermore, Wirra wants to stay, the Eagles want Wirra to stay. The only issue is money. I'm sure Wirra, who won the community award, will accept a pay cut.

Your right its never going to happen, it was just a suggestion, I want to get a high draft pick so we can get Keppler Bradley, I really rate the kid and he could really help fix are KPP problems, I think im dreaming though

Unless you think the 2nd pick will get you a 100% guaranteed gun, than you are right. But judging by past draft results, duds are abound.

I'd take Wirrpunda, a guaranteed performer, over a potential who might reach Wirrpunda's heights anyday.

Wirrpunda has recently turned 24, and already has 8 seasons experience under his belt. Not old by anyone's standards. And on him being a dud, well, it shows how little you know about footy.

judd was No. 3 Hodges (screw abbreviation) WAS No. 2 and Goddard was no. 1 (goddard 2002 draft)

Livingston was 6th...4 places away from 2 and that does count a bit

Hodge was #1, Livingston was #4.

It's to do with punctuations, who really cares?

I don't really want Wirrapunda much, he's a quality player capable of amazing, mystifying feats but he does go missing at times. He's primarily a defender (from my knowledge) while we really need young midfielders that we can get using the PP.
