I'd say it will depend on the respective injury lists. Quite a few of the Hawks big guns are not 100% yet and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the big names (Hay, Rawlings, Barker, Dixon) do not play until the real thing starts.

I'd suggest the Hawks will be looking to blood some new boys. It could go either way but I hope the Hawks squeek by.

well it all depends really on whether the hawks play our stars that are injured, as rusty brookes said we will prob try out some of the younger players and give them a go, so im thinking it will be a very young hawthorn team out there but a good one at that

i reckon the hawks will prob just win though cause there will still be enough senior players out there to lead the team... even if we do lose its only the wizard cup and aslong as the young guys get a go im happy

Hawthorn have too many good players missing. Kangaroos by 4-5 goals.

Duck will be playing I think- which will make it harder for u- with those guys missing (I know u have alot of senior guys that are injured)

Yes hope- I mean we are playin some duds (Not mentioning ne names but the 2 I am thinkin of have names startin with C.. one is a **** head and the other is a plain dud- u know who I am talkin bout..- and we arent even playin Crowe or Pratt- GRR)

Basically injuries from last year that the players haven't shaken off. John Barker played half the season with OP, Dixon's ankle ditto, Hay carried a leg injury as well and I'm pretty sure Rawlings was in the same boat.
