Gotta keep Wojak safe. Bloody oath he can run, that's what we need. Being able to break the lines is an X-Factor and a huge plus. We (the other 21 blokes out there) just gotta give it to him more often so he can use it. And the coaching staff have to give him the opportunity to do so and have faith in him. Look at Harbrow, he has cut us up the last two times we've played them with his pace and running the lines, and he does it every week, until now he has been flying under the radar. Use Wojo as our quater back.....that's all i'm saying! I'd have him before Harbrow too.

He is having the same problem as stokes. Just can't seem to play at 100%. Not sure what the problem is but he will be back up there at 100% for finals i hope.

I actually agree with you that he should be dropped. He has been finished for a while.

He has been a pretty good servant though, so leave the half a r sed tough guy on bigfooty antics alone.

are you being sarcastic or for real?

A bit of both.
He should never have come straight back in.His form this year has been woeful for such an experienced player. He goes missing for long periods of a game, much like Gamble. He should be dropped this week.

We need him, his pace and dash are importnat.

Lets not hang guys out to dry just cause things are not good...they have proven to be important players over the last few years and there is a reason for that!

Keep the faith!

If the players and coaches used Wojak like the doggies use Harbrow, we would see his famous run and dash much more during the game.
If we want to play Wojak in our best 22, like we have been, we have to use him properly and to his strength, simple: look for him and give it to him. they do it with Ablett, so why not give it to Wojak every time in the back half so he can run the lines. the coaching staff have to give him the licence to 'take them on' aswell.
Now that would give him a huge boost of confidence, which would hopefully regain his effecient disposal (as he usually is), it has been a bit 50/50, just like his dash, as it's obvious he isn't sure when to run or when not to.
Give him the licence, give him the confidence so he doesn't have to be tentative of when to go, his first instinct should be 'go, run!', which over the years, it has been.
Also, don't forget, Wojo has the ability to win his own ball and burst away, which will come with regaining his confidence/form.

That is the worst game i have seen Wojac play, however his pace, run and carry and long kicking is what we need. At the moment we have a few players who for whatever reason are not quick enough (Stokes, DJ etc). The long kicking, like a couple of Gazza's last night is important, because it BREAKS THE LINES, the main point of our game plan! Whether running or kicking we need players who can BREAK THE LINES!

It looks like a confidence issue. Bomber should give him a role next week, let him play 90% of the game and tell him to back his judgement.

I cannot believe we are persisitng with DJ, his removal from the team coincided with our terrific run.. He is not quick enough to get to contests he should be getting to to help out. Also, how many times last night were we held up coming out of D50, not his fault, but he can't give us that run and carry type we need. Kelly in DJ out.

Useless Spud? Stooping to new lows you are JubJub.

Yes, I think the wording of this thread needs a makeover.

Such as "Dear David, thankyou for for the few exciting running goals and playing a part in the premiership team. But sadly, your time at the Cats is over. Good luck with your future endevours"

Useless Spud? Stooping to new lows you are JubJub.

Missed this bit did you ?
* A question for the whinging morons - is this the way I should slag off a player who does nothing,is useless and goes AWOL ?

I was being sarcastic and just following the line of the other whinging and moaning bitches last night [i.e see threads about Stokes or Blake]

Piss off you useless spud. You can run,but that's all.Even Byrnes is 100 times better.

Because Ablett can hit a target.

Overrated. His pace and dash is seen maybe once or twice a game these days.
Even Kane Tenace uses his pace and dash more than Wojo these days.Only slightly more.

Surely you're taking the piss. Can't remember the last time Tenace used his pace to advantage, even in the VFL.

Because Ablett can hit a target.

I was just using Ablett as an example of: the players have the ability to look for a player and give it to them at almost any given time - under the pump, in space, running off, one on one, 50 meters down the line. you know what i mean.
As i said, give Wojak a boost by developing a 'give it to him' role and for him to 'take them on' (for Round 22), and hopefully that brings his disposal back up to where it normally is (by the confidence and trust they put into him).
In saying that, If he can't get back to his best by the end of the week, obviously you don't employ that plan/role for the finals as it's too much of a risk. But yet, I'd still keep him in the 22.
