I know there is already a thread along these lines, but I'm buggered if I can find it. Mods, please feel free to merge if you can track it down.

This is the thread for you to post comments made by The Great Woosh that tickle your funny bone. They may be uttered with a steely look, through gritted teeth or as is normally the case, with a deadpan look on his face.

This week, Woosha fronted the media as part of the Eagles Season Launch. Questions quickly turned to Wellingham and his tramploine mishap.

Reporter : Are trampolines now off limits to all West Coast Eagles players?

Woosha: Yep, tramploines and even cushy carpets like this, we're telling them to be careful on. They've got a bit of rebound in them... a tight pile.

Needless to say the reporter didn't pick up on the humour and continued with his next question.

"The Port Adelaide game should give us another high-intensity hit-out"

Tramampoline comments at 1.55

He was killing it in that interview, relaxed but looks sure excited about the year to come. Nar the end you can hear him talking about how difficult it will be to keep track of the 20 interchanges, saying "just get two people, that's twenty fingers, and curl one down every time a player comes off" :D

His comments on the interchange cap are reassuring too- no bullshit about it changing the fabric of the game or the injury rate, players have dealt with lower rotations before and will deal with it again when it comes in. What a coach.

Not only what a coach but I firmly believe we have been training for this over the past few years. A cap on rotations could see these bulky clubs dip a little lower on the ladder and the Might WEagles dominate. Not that we weren'g going to dominate anyhow.

I heard somewhere last year we averaged 107 rotations per game which was the lowest of all finalists.

So we started pre-season training during the season last year

Funny though with our low number of rotations we were always a strong finishing side. I think it's pretty obvious too, the rigs of our team compared to the rest of the competition are much leaner.
