Yeah collapsed about 10 minutes after the race ended and had medical attention for a hour in a medical tent. Apparently he was dizzy, collapsed and blacked out. Medical staff had to give him salted fluids to slowly bring him back to health.

Our era would have lasted longer if we didn't like celebrating our wins so hard and our captain didn't leave.
Very true, we still did pretty well to finish 3rd in 07 with basically no cuz for most of the year and Judd on one leg for the second half of the season.
Worsfold spoke at a Scotch function on Wednesday night and ran a marathon in NY on Sunday. Assuming he flew out of Perth on Thursday, he didn't leave much time for rehydration after the flight. Always easy with hindsight.
Did anyone see an article about woosha talking to saint Kilda? My brother told me about it but couldn't find anything.

It was just Eddie saying he saw Woosha in Melbourne and joined the dots somehow.

His comment about sticking with players not necessarily the stars is interesting. Who were the "stars" that got dropped. Cousins, Fletcher, Chick are names that ive seen floating around but it seems really "the culture" was Ben Cousins, he at least wore 99% of everything...
Imagine how big the margin would of been today if he was still coach..
