A wild guess when I had many other options. Came to my head first so I went with it. Sometimes your first instinct is the best one. (I also nearly did CHASM as my second word).

Squardle is really trying my patience at the moment. How are 'stile' and 'floe' bonus words considering some of the crap that they actually count? And yes I am aware that I'm not the first to whinge (probably another bonus word) about this.

Yes, the bonus rule is a puzzle in itself. Maybe they are words they didn't think of themselves, although obviously they are on a list. Or they upset the rest of the puzzle somehow. They also had a special puzzle that reversed the acceptable words and the bonus words so you had to find all the bonus words; it was a killer, most of them I'd never heard of, it was like letter-salad.
