OK lets just assume that as we love mediocrity so much we are going to choose Chris Connelly as coach. In order to avert mass suicide I've created this thread for the purpose of inviting anyone creative enough to play devils advocate.

The question is, can you the marvelous Melbourne board find enough positives about this potential disappointment to con as us all into believing that this isn't the end of the world? I'll get the ball rolling:
