If Campo earns his spot in the team, he'd hardly be damaging our younger players development. If anything, it would keep the pressure on the kids to perform. Good thing, I say. Maybe I'll start the "SAY YES TO CAMPO - IF HE PLAYS WELL FOR BENDIGO CAUSE HE'LL DO OKAY, AND SHOW SOME GOOD LEADERSHIP, BUT WON'T SET THE WORLD ON FIRE IN 2007 CAMPAIGN". T-Shirts to be printed soon.

I would agree with the fact that he NEEDS to play well - the whole thing about my stance is that he should not get FREE games to justify drafting him last year - he got 12 FREE games last year due to injuries etc....
So far our list is intact and we are going along nicely
He is not a walk up start in our best 22, in my best 30 !!!!
Although the campaign seems very harsh to some, it is all about the fact that we are moving forward, our list is in good shape, we have that ugly word 'potential' and I am an advocate in unleashing that potential at all costs - FRANKLY I see zero potential in CAMPO ( he would need to be starring for Bendigo and our youngsters would need to be playing horribly)
The long winded campaign you suggested could work with my whole theory to - but I just couldn't be bothered writing " CAMPO IS NOT AN AUTOMATIC SELECTION FOR EFC WHEN HE RETURNS FROM INJURY, OUR YOUNGSTERS ARE THE EQUAL OF THIS STAT CHASING OLD HACK CAMPAIGN 2007
SAY NO TO CAMPO 2007 is just easier and sounds better
What about the "potential" of making those around him better players?
Jobe Watson has already said that Campo made a significant impact on his improvement last season.
He's a smart footballer, if he earns his spot and he makes those around him better, he does plenty for their/our development.

More like a Richmond supporter to me. Jumps at their own any chance they get.
We've all done that at some stage and continue to do so....we've all crack at each on certain issues. Thats pretty much 50% of what BF is.
I think Ive said this on another thread, but it doesnt bother me if he never plays a senior game for us again. Aside from JJ coming into the side, Im happy with our midfield structure and the options available to us.
