With the speculation of the Pick No.2 and R. Tambling to Collingwood for J. Fraser and A. Didak, would you take it?

NO WAY!

We don't need to top up our list, we need to build it. We need to more Hudson's, Kingsley's, Knobel's, Graham's and Fraser could be one of these.

As for Didak, I understand he is an excellent player however we have Pettifer and Brown who are two very good small fowards and its the area of the ground in which are probably most successful and that doesn't need changing. Pettifer average 1.7 goals this year (over 2 since Browns return) and Brown average 1.8 goals this year.

I don't want to give up Tambling because he will become a solid player and pick 2 could bring us Cotchin who also looks like a good prospect

I think this has already been pondered ad nauseam in other posts... the consesus is no - Fraser adds only depth to 2 similar ruckman in patto and simmonds and didak (although insanely talented) is probably not worth the trouble. Add to that losing Tambling who will only get better and there really is no deal.

Regardless Collignwood won't lose Didak after his finals performances.

Simmonds is better (when fit) in the around-the-ground ruckman role. Pattison wouldn't be too far behind. If we wanted a mature ruckman to give us more strength in the area you'd want it to be a tap-ruckman.

Furthermore why would Collingwood release Fraser? Rocca is on his last legs, Bryan and Richards are terrible and they have no other options. They can't afford to let him go.

Not only is Didak more trouble than he is worth he is a McGuire love child. Every thing Richmond has done in the last 5 years has been about getting quick and mobile (other than Reiwoldt) and that is the last thing that Didak is. Not to mention we have Pettifer and Brown parked on the HFF already.

Makes no sense on any level.

Tambling is jus starting to reach his potential n will have an even better year next year....pick no. 2 cotchin is going to be a gun mid...fraser has past his time....he's not even a true ruckman...i've got faith in patto...didak? we have nath brown....
