Seeing as I am her age and have biggest chance of anyone else in this forum of rooting her, I would prefer she isn't wearing clothes

She is 18 thank you very much and she is wearing a reasonable outfit.

Their outfits don't get chosen by themselves. It's done professionally by a wardrobe stylist and the performers are dressed certain ways to provoke a reaction. She's young and pretty. Sex sells and they want to market that to promote more sales.

I'm aware of this (hence what I wrote in the brackets and the general sarcasm of my comment)...just living in denial over the fact that we live in a shallow society that obviously values looks over talent. It's unfortunate really...how can they be shocked that these people don't have lasting careers? Take Ed Sheeran for example, he's one of the rarities...not the best looking kid out there but his talent does all the talking :P :)

Ooh 18, sorry I didn't realise she had a birthday recently. Oh, that's right...it's because I don't care :)

She and Marlisa are the youngest girls on the show and the things that they are told to wear are sometimes way off base. They get it right sometimes, but a few of their outfits have been awful and highly inappropriate when you consider their age.

Marlissa I agree, but what outfit has been awful from Caitlyn? The Taylor Swift one is exactly the same as the one she uses in the video, she sort of has to wear that one. The one tonight was modest with her boots.

That's how pop stars dress. It's for tv. They have to be dramatic. It's not like they are walking out on the street wearing that stuff.

I'm pretty sure that's a complaint. Ur bothered by what she is wearing because of her young age. U don't think it's appropriate for someone that young to be showing that much skin.
 
Only partially true. You're right, I don't think it's appropriate for young girls/women to dress like hookers. Girls and women aren't sex objects; they should be treated with respect and valued for their skills and talents, not spoken about in the manner I've observed in this thread. I'm not saying they have to dress like nuns but let them be young for now. They'll have plenty of time to be adults later...:-)

However, I'm not bothered by it. They can dress any way they want; it isn't going to change my life in any way. ..

XOX and Trill were 100 times worse, where were your complaints then? I agree on Marlissa, and I hated her outfit on Sunday. Caitlyn has been very modest in her outfits.

I don't think it's appropriate either but it is a given in this industry and that's how sales are made for most females. Sadly it is about looks.
And like I said I highly doubt any of these outfits would be chosen by the performers themselves. It's just for tv. They need to be dramatic and stand out. Otherwise what makes them different to any regular person on the street.
 
Paris Inc were actually not that good. Their audition was very good, everything past that was average at best. Their last performance, at the houses, Kesha's Love is my drug, was atrocious.
