XP2 Firewall V ZoneAlarm

The only thing I know about it is that whilke it does the job, it is very basic. No reason to switch from Zone Alarm.

Most people have no firewall at all, XP SP2 at long last enables the features that advanced users have always used (such as a firewall and auto-updating of patches). But if you're an advanced user, there's no need to change what you're using.

The XP2 Firewall is good to have. Its good as a backup. I dont have the XP2 pack so I dont know but from what I have read, its good as a secondary firewall. You wouldnt want the XP2 by itself.

If it says that thing about compatability problems, go with Zone Alarm. Ive got it and its the best.

the trick is with service pack 2 you can only use one firewall (xp service pack 2 or the other)

using two firewalls slows windows down, happy with sp2 blocking popups quicker surfing

Im currently using Kerio Personal Firewall and is doing a good job.

Is ZoneAlarm much better than this program? Thanks.

Never heard of Kerio Personal Firewall but ZoneAlarm is very good. Always tracks my computer and doesnt always pop-up alerting you which is good.

In my opinion, Zone Alarm is the best Firewall.
