So Kevy is doing press about the final season and him not in it. I’m a bit confused with the whole saga of the Part B not being finished
bloody hell.

You know what, season 5a can get droppped off at the train station

Kevin Costner discusses potential "Yellowstone" return.

There's also been growing speculation Costner might return, and he's been more than willing to stoke the fire. However, it seems unlikely seeing as how production has already completely wrapped or is close to it on the final season. Yet, he's still leaving the door open.

So long as Beth gets an uppercut from her cuck brother I’ll sit through whatever this final season of Yellowstone has to offer

Do I care enough to get back into it? Trying to remember where it finished - has it been 2.5 years?

I don’t. That’s about how long it’s been for me too, like a lot of these shows they go down a rabbit hole of boredom that makes you not want to go back and that’s probably about where I’m at with it

Is this overall worth watching?

I just finished a series and looking for a new one to start
Me and the First Lady have given it two goes, both for about the first 4-5 episodes, and ditched it both times. This was after recommendations from friends who somehow enjoyed it, and also because we'd loved 1883 which is apparently a prequel.

She's normally into this fluffy soap kinda stuff, but as a horsewoman she just couldn't get past how hopeless the alleged cowboys were with their animals. And I just couldn't attach myself to a single one of the characters. I really wanted to like it, but not for me unfortunately.

respect.

interesting to hear a perspective of a horseperson. Was it the way they rode the horse, or corralled them?

Yeah Pete, I think it was the whole handling, wrangling, riding style thing - not in my lane at all, but apparently enough to make her squirm. A bit like us footy heads when we watch actors (or politicians!) try to kick a footy I guess 🤣

I reckon you can normally make allowances for these sort of things - they are actors after all. But when you make the whole cowboy thing the cornerstone of their personas, major errors or omissions to what real cowpokes do probably stand out like ... well ... horses balls 😁

Good start - pretty efficient way of handling the fact that Costner isn’t involved any more.
No point pussyfooting around with the issue, just kill him off in the first 60 seconds of the new series.

Then reveal early in the first episode just who the culprit is.

Now we get to watch the unfolding of how retribution is played out.

AND - the consequences for the Ranch as the political landscape is reshaping.

Me thinks that this could be the most violent series yet.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and revenge is dish best served cold.

Good plot twist Mr Sheridan, well done.

Its a pity this series has been bastardized because of all the production issues plaguing it. I wonder if they will reboot it at some point and make a more cohesive series?

Agree it has been bastardised but in many ways that’s Taylor Sheridans doing.
He has interrupted the flow by doing so many off shoot prequels.
1883, 1923, 6666 and some of his other projects.

The Yellowstone series could have been written, filmed edited and be in the can had he not had disrupted and delayed.

But no doubt the writers strike messed up both Sheridans production plans, as it also did to Costner time line with Horizon.

I doubt they reboot it, certainly but with the cast we know.
Seems to be some bad blood between Sheridan and Costner.

Hard to imagine the following ever being as strong as it was without Costner’s role of JD.
