The fate of pick 1 is up to you guys. I hightly doubt Collingwood will pass up the opportunity now that their season is completely shot. Carlton winning the pp is no certainty, but if we lose this week, we'll be almost home. I'd rather win a pp than have another pointless season like last year.
Understudy, what kind of players do you think Collingwood are after? I imagined you would be looking for classy midfielders. ie Deledio and Griffen, whilst Carlton would be going for hard-nuts. ie Roughead and Lewis.

I don't think anyone is suggesting to lay and die. But fuc.k it would be nice to have some quality picks at the end of the year. Look what The Tigers and the Hawks have been able to unearth just through last years draft. Our picks from last year (Russell and Hartlett) hopefully will be OK but it so obvious now that the cream of the crop is between 1 and 6. To be perfectly honest i'm becoming tired of inconsistent, underperforming re-cycled players and as long as we can at least be competitive for the rest of of year i wouldn't care if we didn't win more than 5 games.

Agree in principal,as long as there is no tanking then grabs those first couple of picks in the draft by all means. A couple of quality top ups can make a big difference.
