So I've attended 71 games for 45 wins, 24 losses and 2 draws, since round 12 2008.
My longest winning streak was 10 matches from round 20 2011 to round 8 2012.
My longest losing streak was 4 matches, from round 15 to 21 in 2012.
Biggest win was 148 points vs. Melbourne in 2013, the same game I tipped a 150 point win.
Biggest loss was 96 vs. Carlton in 2012.
My record vs. teams:
156qnp2.jpg

So there's a 70% chance of beating Richmond this weekend.
The only team I've never seen live is Adelaide.

As for this year, Every game I've gone to, we've won. Every one I've not attended, we've lost. Hopefully the streak continues this week.

Fun fact, I've been at 3 matches decided by a kick after the siren. The two season matches were wins, the preseason one was a miss.
What's your record?

Yeowza. Well, my first ever game attended was Round 18, 1991 against North actually, and that was a win.

I became a member at the start of 2012, so my record since becoming a member is 34 games attended, for 20 wins, 13 losses and one draw. Prior to that, I attended games relatively rarely= maybe three a year.

I started going every week in 2002, round 1 was GAJ's debut. Usually miss 1-2 games a year, and sometimes go interstate for a game or two. I'll have to go through fixtures to work out how many I've been to.

Nice thread. I'll look into this and post my results. I think you'll find 2012 quite funny

EFC Results 1.png

  • I've attended 69 games for 32 wins, 35 losses and 2 draws since my first game I attended which was round 4 1998 at Waverley Park..
  • My longest winning streak was just 4 on two occasions
  • My longest losing streak was 6 which was from round 17, to round 23, 2012. I moved over from Perth the week following the win against Fremantle in Perth when Hurley kicked 6. I then saw that massive thumping against Footscray and then it was all down hill from there.
  • Biggest win was 148 points vs Melbourne in round 2, 2013.
  • Biggest loss was 96 points vs Carlton in round 21, 2012.
My record vs. teams:
Team Table.PNG
  • 100% win record against the two expansion teams
  • A healthy 80% and 75% for Footscray and Carlton respectively
  • Unfortunately there is just a 38% chance of beating Richmond this weekend if I attend, I wonder if I should skip it and just let you go frenchfri12 ;)
Year by year:

So far, this season is shaping up to be the best win percentage of the lot, but alas the season is still young.

As I said, I moved here in 2012 and only saw a win in just 25% of the games. Sorry guys.

Pretty much, our slump in 2012 coincided with scezza moving here and ramping up his attendance.

Forget Weap and Dankovich and TB4, it's his fault.

I'll try and put together my pre-2012 list at some point.

Also, scezza, please never go to a Geelong, North or Collingwood game again. Ta.

Also what's 6tj? Some strange Tusken Raider language I'll wager.
Yeah, I got nothing - but trust you to forensically examine my post to find a mistake. :rainbow:

As someone who's gone to just about every home game and most Melbourne based away games since the early 90's, it's too hard for me to remember.

Biggest winning margins are 148 vs Melbourne, 140 vs GC and 125 vs Norf.

Biggest losses 108 vs St K & 99 vs Geelong

OTOH Best games 93 Ablett vs Salmon, 01 comeback and Hird vs WCE 04

Best individual performance would probably be Lloyd's 13.4 vs Sydney, his 30 touches and 7.1 against Adelaide at PP or any number of Hird's games (ANZAC 30 & 5 or WCE 04 being the two obvious standouts)

First, this has nothing todo with your list, but how did you make it all one image?

Secondly, how the **** you you have a good record against Melbourne? I can't imagine anyone being over 50% vs. them. For me its them above Geelong. You, 5th?

First game attended late 80's, since around 94-95 been averaging 10+ games a year. (some years missed due to living OS)

No way in hell can I remember them all sorry.

I used the snipping tool and paint combined. Snipped the spreadsheet and just expanded the 'canvas' in paint to paste it all into one long image.

Regarding Melbourne - I wasn't living in Melbourne until mid 2012 except for most of the 09 season when I lived here for a year. I am fortunate to have seen them in '09, '13 and '14 with '14 being the only loss. Just luck I guess ;)

I'm lucky, I had only seen the odd game before 2009 so they're all fresh in my memory. Now that I've got this spreadsheet I will keep maintaining it so I have the record for ever. That way I won't have the problem of remembering them all!

Should get in touch with D Wallis, he's the master of spreadsheets. Could even print it in A3 for you.

Started going in the seventies, too many to keep track of.

No one will match WindyHill though I'm tipping....

Same here, started going most weeks in 1975 at age 6.
Would say i have been to 15 plus games most seasons since then other than 1990 when i was in Europe.
On rough figures i would be at around 600 games viewed live. No idea what the win loss is other than i have been to 4 Grand Finals for 4 wins.
Missed going in 1983 as i was in hospital with a broken leg, 1990 in Europe and 2001 in Queensland at my sisters wedding.
Must say i was very , very unhappy about 2001 right up until that afternoon. Told my sister she was lucky i came. Of course after we lost i thanked her several times and enjoyed the free food and drinks :D:drunk:

Nice one Dave ! Yes missed four since 1973 ( in Melbourne ) and haven't missed one since 1993 ( dogs out at The Kennel) missed many parties, gatherings etc due to Essendon or should I say, Essendon have got me out of many things. :)

I don't know how people remember all the games they've been too unless you go every week.

Went to a few every year however 2009 I became a member. Basically for me, from halfway through 2009 until I left for Europe last year I missed 3 games in a 5 year patch. One was because I was at the Grand Prix (Rd 1 2011 vs the Bulldogs), a second because of my 18th (Round 14 2011 vs Geelong. fml) and the 3rd was because of the stresses of Year 12 ( 2011 vs Collingwood). Missed 4 last season because of my trip, but holidays are probably the only thing that will stop me going in the future.

2006, 2010 and second half of 2012 were the roughest years being an Essendon fan attending games. It's tough going to games knowing you have zero chance of winning.

What were the others you missed between 1973 and 1993, out of interest?

To put this in some perspective, by the way; windyhill has missed four Melbourne games in the past 43 seasons. I have missed three just in 2015 alone.

Good god.

I'm 39 years old. I've missed 3 Victorian based games since the start of 1997.

These were:

- Vs kangaroos in 1998 on a Friday night

-vs crows in 2007 at Etihad

- vs cats in round one 2010 (best man at a wedding). Still haven't forgiven the guy for his scheduling, lol.

I reckon from 1992-1996 I missed 5-6 games in total over those five seasons.

From 1991 back when I was in my mid teens and younger I had to rely on my dad taking me (he is not a bombers fan) so I had to instigate everything. it wasn't as if I had an Essendon supporting family member taking me every week, which was frustrating because I'd get upset as a youngster when I couldn't go.

As soon as I got my drivers license and basically became old enough to go out by myself I've been a permanent fixture.

I reckon I've been to about 450 bombers games all up.

So far so good. It helps me remember the games attended from crossing them off the list from the membership fixtures. Only been through 3 losses in a row, it helps realising the second half yips.

QenKEHM.png

The usual with this season unless things pick up the next month or two. The Brisbane match was a nice change of pace and the 4th largest margin for me.
L5FdAlS.png

Missed the opportunity to see Adelaide live for the first time last season so this year should be interesting regarding the second half yips. It's looking like Fremantle will never come here unless they win a premiership.
UcuQOIx.png

The asterix meaning that there will be more games to attend, not that
