Not sure how many of you are near Heidelberg Golf course but they look to have some pretty good members packages which just came through to me in an Ausgolf email. They have a twilight package which was always a favorite of mine when living in Melbourne and other restricted memberships. Years since I played it but was a great course with a really good clubhouse.

Interesting. I signed up at Heidelberg a few months back, absolutely love it. I prefer links courses but I didn’t have too many options this way that was within my golfing allowance budget

Still is.

Front 9 at Churchill Endevour Hills, wanted to play 18 but the weather got us as we started the 10th and was already soaked as it got heavy so called it a day.

47 strokes, 25 points. Close to the best I've played, if not the best as its not the easiest course and especially not in the rain today. Quite long and a lot of dog legs and the holes slope either up or down.

Had been chunking and pulling a lot recently, managed to find my way to better striking but still have a tendency to pull shots left.

Its really starting to come together though, handicap will drop a touch I think.

National Moonah course today. So bloody windy, but did not lose a ball which is a win it itself. 90 off the stick. Need to adjust faster to the slower greens which should be faster

Playing The Old on the 15th i hope

Played 13th Beach (Beach course) last Sunday afternoon. Always a gem to play. Little bit of poa creeping into the greens but otherwise excellent.
So I made one of my best dad's jokes ever during my one and only round at Royal Melbourne. There were some greenkeepers on the green, I asked 'what are you doing?' They replied, 'Digging up Poa from the greens' I said 'That must make you Poa constrictors....' No response, nothing, crickets. I assumed that they had either heard the joke 1000 times before or didn't understand it at all. Tough crowd.

First round in 7 weeks today after a lengthy holiday on the coast. Shot par 72 off the stick (-2 34 on the front, +2 38 on the back at Waverley private). Eagle on the par 5 7th helped. Hit 15 greens in regulation but missed quite a few getable birdies. Nice to strike the ball well after a decent break though

I'm only a little bit jealous.

Just seen yesterday's comp results

Had a guy off +7 playing

Sadly he only finished on +1

That's some seriously good golf

Note: same guy shot 14under during a comp round, but didn't win A grade 🤣
