At days end, I've had friends who have asked me if they can bring their mates to the club where i play for a round. Sure, i remind my friend to advise his about dress code and or other stuff. A few times my friend has informed me his mate(s) think its (dress code) is stuffy/sh*t. Well, happy that they can have an opinion and not be blasted for it. But yeah, if they dont want to abide not much i can do about it

Always amazes me when people can’t wear a collar. Would they play footy not wearing a team jumper or cricket not in whites? On the hat in the pro shop, I’ve never heard of it. In the clubhouse yes. The pro shop you’re just passing through, clubhouse you’re staying for a drink/food. That said if someone let me know I wouldn’t have an issue.

Might be against the grain here but I actually like the formal dress code. I think golf fashion is really smart, and I even wear some golf polos to work. Beats the stock standard tap out tshirt with sh*t calf-tatt combos at the local public courses.
Couldn't agree more

Watching pga this morning

WTF is with these clowns wearing a dark shirt dark pants and WHITE flipping shoes

It looks pathetic

Light dark light

Dark dark dark

It's not hard you fashion duds

Those pants with cuffs on tour at the moment are interesting

36 points in my first Saturday comp in ages. Happy overall but need to work on getting up and down from <50m. Had 4 shots like this and took 3 shots each time. Should get two of them.
Yeah I need to work on that too. On a good day I would get 2...on an average day 1 or none. On a poor day probably a blow out!

Triple bogey to start, 3 putt double bogey to finish spoiled the round. Rest of the round was bogeys or pars

Middle of the round was held up the slowest group of 4 in carts. They were on the 6th green when i was teeing off on the 4th. By the 8th tee they were holding up the group in front of me. I was finally let through on the 12th. I looked back on the 16th green and they were still on the 13th

I don't mind the general "neat" dress code, where I think it gets old and archaic is where they start stipulating sock length or ban even tailored golf shorts.
