yering meadows aka goatus trackus. ok look its in "good condition". but plenty of bare patches around, greens slow, aprons need a trim. basically no run. greens very soft.

The 15th hole on my home course is next to a busy street. Over the years the amount of trenches that have been dug on the tee due to well timed honking must have cost the club a fortune to repair!

Goonawarra was in pretty good nick today, shot 88 off the stick, with 31 putts, gave me a nett 65 and A grade winner for the day, and also won the putting, was pretty happy with my day. Driving was as good as it has been in a long time, finally starting to see some benefit from my new clubs, also due to my back being sore most of the time, i have actually slowed my swing down and surprise surprise i'm hitting them straight and with good distance. Also getting a game in at least a week isn't hurting.

After the shit of yering last week it was good to be home. A rushed warm up with only wedges working i thought oh shiiiiiiit. Gonna be a longgggg day!

Well.....one wipe and 44 points later. Course almost in mint condition, a lot of traffic but yeah.

Light breeze, basically nothing. But seemed to be hitting into it a lot. After opening with some questionable irons things got better and smart golf was the order of the day. Started with a ball. finished with same ball.

Today I played golf at Peninsula-Kingswood. On the South course. First time in a while. Although only 17 holes (18th green and fairway TBC), and sanded greens, it was still a joy to play.

Strange day. Struggled early with all clubs, hooking off the tee, off the ground. Just poo. Fought back and chipped away. Driver was barely used as it would just put me in trouble. No idea how i got 33 pts, with 2 wipes considering i was hacking it around, chunking the aggat, 8 irons barely going 100m. All over the shop. But yeah, survived.

Booked some Scottsdale golf last night. In addition to TPC Scottsdale, will be playing Troon North, We-Ko-Pa and Eagle Mountain (got a free round with our accommodation). Pumped.

I’m having my first game back in the country tomorrow since my two games in Denver Colorado. I haven’t even swung a club. That was three weeks ago. The last time I had over 8 days between rounds was November/December, 2008. I didn’t play or swing a club for 6 weeks then and returned on Boxing Day with a win.

Playing Safety Beach this Sunday,never played there so not sure what to expect, other than it looks a short course with some water.

I'm loving daylight savings, i've been getting out to Melbourne airport golf course after 6pm lately, 12 bucks for as many holes as you can play, not worrying about score as the course at this time of the day is quiet, and i'm using it more for practice, playing different clubs off the tee and from different spots on the fairway, much better than just whacking balls on a driving range.
