As long as you can submit cards does anyone really care about comps? Apparently cops drive by last week enforcing distance rules.

so what's the deal with suburb restrictions? I'm hoping to play today on a course 15 mins from home, technically it's not the closest as there's one 10 mins from home, but none in my direct suburb. What's the risk here? Can't believe I'm feeling like a criminal for wanting to drive 10km to play golf....

Thought I would tuck this gem in here. Should make everyone feel good about their game.

Also helpful instruction. ;)

20/25 mins will be ok

i have not heard about this restriction. However, police were checking drivers going on peninsula link southbound today.

I imagine if we stay in S3 restructions, they cant stop me from playing at my home course despite it being 1hr away

I actually got stopped at a checkpoint today on the way to Devilbend. The cop just asked what I was doing, I said I was playing golf and a member down there. Said ok, and that's it. I was coming from Cheltenham too. So as long as you are member, it's fine

Yeah, been a member for a few years, used to live closer and have a mate who I pay usually with down there. Get reasonable value for money there despite the 6,000 Hills you have to walk up.

We were 5 down after 9 today in 4bbb match play after squaring the first 3. We won 10, squared 11 and 12 then won 13 & 14 to be 2 down after 14. They won 15 and 16. So we lost 4 & 2.
I didn’t play too bad but my partner had a shocking front 9 and the back wasn’t great for both us late. Our opposition took it in turns to play well.

Hitting them ok regularly scoring over 30 but handicap still getting the drifts!
Playing with a mask on should be different hey?

Do you have to wear the mask everywhere when you’re out of the house?
I believe so?
It’s all very unclear really, it says if you’re running you don’t have to, same if you have medical issue or for practical reasons.
Not sure where it’ll fall tbh but it will cause a lot of issues at clubs.
I’m sure GA will likely bring something out.

Quick (and I mean quick..teed off at 3.30) 18 at Oakleigh with the boy. 5 over after 2....finished 12 over. Bit of Paralysis from Analysis at the beginning. Slowed down and started to hit a few nice ones. Bit of a gentle fade going on. I am normally the other way.

Got a bit of the birdies and bogeys going on at the moment.

Which is frustrating the hell out of me, but hit the greatest tee shot on a par three I’ve hit in a long time.

170m to the pin. Ended up within 2 feet.

Good par? 🤣

My wife smoked me the other day, beat me by 4 strokes over 9. Playing again tomorrow, if need be I'll tamper with her clubs.

I can hit it a mile longer than her, but she doesn't really miss a fairway with her slower, shorter swing while I'm often playing out of the trees. If ever there was an advertisement for accuracy > distance, then that round was it.
