My wife said yesterday "the weathers nice we should go for a walk tomorrow"

So i played the West 9 at Howeston while she walked with me. Perfect weather, and 2 250m par 4s back to back that i nearly drove the green on (missed one just left and one just short)

Had 5 tee shots at a 160m par 3 though (there was two groups waiting at the next tee box and nobody behind me) and didn't hit the green once so ya know, still have some work to do

I think they still want people staying as close to home as possible (in that 5 km radius)...that is the only reason I can think of why we are not allowed.

Yeah, a lot of people live further than 5kms from their local club so that makes some sense but yeah the inconsistencies frustate people

Exactly mate. I mean, i live 100kms from mine, as do most members of the club. ****

Move down there Pete. Serious. Melb is a shit show now. Fair dinkum we are not allowed to play golf....but the young ones have been blatantly not following rules for weeks now. My neighbours had 2 different car loads of visitors at different times today. Happening everywhere. (probably why the fine is now up to 5k).

I’d be your neighbours if I lived down there.

Is Howeston on the North Eastern side of Brissy?

Kid played well today—12 year old division

I don’t understand the logic. Swimming you have to book a lane time, same as golf, no?

Had 38 points today but gee I left a lot out there.

Two wipes - one of them I didn’t see my ball off the tee and simply didn’t find it.
Had 4 putts lip out, and best/worst of all, I found ONE fairway off the tee. Fair to say my iron play was bloody good.

Was good enough today to actually visualise how I could get my mark down to 10-12 which I haven’t been able to see until now

I shot 82/66 on Wednesday and lost B grade on a count back. Today is the monthly medal off the blue markers. Last month I went to handicap in the monthly medal for the first time in nearly 5 years. It’s pretty windy outside.

Some days you just can’t play consistent golf. My balance, timing and focus was way out of whack. I shot 90/74 (6 over handicap) but struggled to hit an iron or fairway for most of the round. I knew on the practice green that I wasn’t right when every putt I over hit or left it short by about 30%. All things considered my score could’ve been way worse.
