Haven’t played since 8th Feb.
Surgery completed yesterday.
Surgeon to review in 3mths to see if I can at least start practicing. Hopefully able to play again before Xmas, but 12 months before back to full strength.

Played 9 holes Friday arvo. Golden Beach as usual. 41 off the stick, pretty happy with game. Looking fwd to Saturday.

Saturday morning, hcp 18. Shot 83, Nett 65. Missed 5 gettable birdie putts. Won my first Monthly Medal. Woo hoo.

I've made a few changes to my game and have improved it by maybe 5 shots a round.

Guess the only thing is to believe in the power of Golf Karma. I do not understand golfers who don’t try to improve any course. Fill extra divots, make 1 plug mark, fix 2.

It was like that early on but when the sun came out it was sand to ball ratio was less

Quick 9 holes at Marangaroo after work yesterday. Scrambled well for a 5 over 41. Couple of very fortunate long putts dropped for me. Birdies handicap drops another .6, down to 15.7.

Are your PD greens on the Furrows subject to this extreme level of coring or is this just required for the old greens on main course?

Furrows got the same treatment but I haven’t been on there to compare, but from a distance look similar. Main course is getting close to normal again. Good today and rolling out. Couple of weeks and they’ll be super.

Royal Pines was an enjoyable time.

We had the gold 9 first up and conditioning was excellent and some nice holes there. Hit some cracking irons, playing off the back tees. Ended up out the back on the Blue 9, while the condition wasn't the same, I thought it wasn't as bad as everyone says.

It was good to get a course ticked off in QLD and hopefully will add a few more in Noosa come June.

Blue 9 was crap in October last year. Green & Gold are usually pretty good.

Agree but Blue 9 wasn't horrible at all, clearly just a little less water on the course.

I had 33 points last Tuesday at Wynnum Golf Club. I was always on handicap or better until the 12th where this dick in our group started going ahead and wouldn’t move out of the way when trying to play a shot.
I recovered with a par on 15 and a nearest to the pin tap in birdie on 16. On 17 I three putted terribly for a lip out birdie to bogey. I then washed 18 after I had a 100m wedge 2nd shot into the green. Every time he’s standing right in the way of the green with front pins.
The other 2 blokes I went round with said that he does it all the time.

PK a few times and national in the past few days. Fatigued to say the least and actualy play perhaps reflects this.
