Brisbane have been my second team for 20+ years. Jumped on board in 1996 when they made finals for the first time, and Michael Voss was my favorite player when I was ten.

My sister also lived in Brisbane at the time, so I had a curiosity of the place as well.

I don't really have one, the degree to which I hate the other teams varies depending on their coach and playing list, but Adelaide are like the cousin who looks a lot like you but a bit uglier so, Crows.

Brisbane or Adelaide, I guess? I dunno. So long as they don't beat us I'll support them against other teams. They're kinda like our cousins.

I go for any team that could win and deliver us a strategic advantage. Other than that everyone else is grouped evenly with the only real exceptions being Freo and Port who I hate passionately (and yes go fkuc yourselves campaigners on your shit years)

Agree completely, there are indeed 18 clubs in the AFL.

I'm a parochial Westralian, live in Freo and am a Souths fan. If Fremantle came first I would have been a fan. So I have a soft spot for them.

That being said, thank fck they came after us. Geography and an alright 2nd edition jumper aside, I'd pull my hair out supporting that rabble.

So my second club tends to rotate.

More interesting are the clubs that sh|t me for pedantic reasons.

Port Adelaide - easily the most punchable players on a list and for more than a decade now. Constantly fawned over, constantly average.

Adelaide - so many blondes a few years ago it looked like a klan rally. They're big like WC and yet seemingly run by a cabal of incompetent morons. Riccuito......give me strength.

Geelong - post 2006, the Ashley and Martin rejects were so very hateable. Also, Selwood is brave.

Sydney - I loathe them for their rivalry and their COLA and their being too damn good. Respect.

But honestly it's WC, WC and then WC.

Pretty stoked to see Melbourne finally rising above being shit, probably the only other team I could barrack for, but only if my life depended on it. No Eagles no interest in footy for me.

Honestly, it’s definitely not a ‘2nd Team’ scenario, but if I had to choose a club I hate the least...it’s Adelaide...then probably Brisbane.
