Your Team's Sub

Last year one of the things that really pissed me off was if one of my players was named in the team but ended up being a Sub, it got to the point where I would of rather they not play at all.

Last week or so Jamie Cripps become a very tempting option for my forward line at $162K but after some time on the St Kilda page there seems to be a large belief that we will have a bit of a Luke Bruest year coming on as the sub, which could be good seeing Bruest got 3 100+ scores last year. Though for the time being I don't want players that will be spending 2 and a half quarters sitting on the bench not getting any points.

So who do you think will be starting as a sub in games this year for your team?

Well cheers for your input, it's something that has affected scores in the past and I haven't seen it addressed on here.

- Stevens (maybe not so much in the earlier rounds)
- Weedon
- Swift
- Hams

Pearce, Neale, Mellington, Ibbotson, Suban as subs with also Walters given the vest when he comes back into the side.

It's possible that everybodies favourite rookie defenders will have to spend some time wearing the green vest. I reckon they'll both start on the field this week, but be prepared for some horror weeks where one starts as the sub and the other one comes off for him.

This week I think it might be Guthrie but any of him, Smedts, Motlop, Hogan, Cowan etc will be sub at times during the year.

I agree with the idea, the sub should be someone who can effect the score board.
