Interested in hearing more about this.

Pass it off as tutoring, make a flyer and stick it up in the international student section. If you've got pretty handy computer skills it's not hard to make one that they'll notice. There'll no doubt be a few up there, but undercut them for a while until you get to a point where people start to realise that you'll do a good job at what you're offering, which is when word of mouth kicks in.

As a tutor you can charge whatever you want. One guy I knew was charging $40 an hour to look over their work with a fine tooth comb, but rather than just a basic proofread, he'd take their ideas and rewrite it for them. There's a massive demand for this sort of thing, so get in while you can. It definitely was a constructive use of time between classes that I would have otherwise wasted.

Yeah, I used to spend a lot of time in the UNSW law library and on two separate occasions had a Spanish girl and an Italian girl come up to me and ask for proofreading of an essay.

Both times it took a lot of effort and time, so I shouldve asked for money, not just done whatever they told me to cause they were hot and there was the vague chance of sexual relations.

Yeh, don't let the hot ones use you. That said though, you might come across one or two who will pay you with services rather than $. I never did, but you never know. :P

If you really wanted to, you could've utilised both of these opportunities.

I probably wouldn't do it myself, however it's a pretty good service to offer and good way of making money, so long as you do right by the students. If you have enough clients, you could even use it to replace casual work as a student.
