Anyone paying close to $2 million will be very disappointed.

FA’s are going to start getting PAID especially if the original club can’t afford to match. I’d think at a minimum Port and Essendon will offer more than that by the end of the season. If the Pies miss out on King they’ll have salary to throw around too.

$1.4M is reasonable for a quality FA like Bailey, $2M is list killing unless you are at the bottom end of the table.

If Butters goes, it's going to be all change at Port. They will certainly have the draft picks to get Cochrane and will ensure they have picks banked for Pilot and Salopek. I tend to think you are right with NWM...he will be the free agent they are going to load up for when he comes out of contract and they would be silly not to. Bailey if he leaves i feel confident we will be the club he nominates...family ties and midfield opportunity in what should be a contending side going forward. Just my take.
