Nah, as I said before, if you have any connections to anyone who's inside SA football you have heard the same thing.

It been hanging around for a few months that him leaving could be on the cards.
Regardless of what you think of Rucci, he does speak to alot of people at Port, and he does socialise with alot of the SA football Mafia, and he would hear the same thing.

Then you have Kingy who is sitting there saying things that Kane tells him about, so that it's him saying it an not Cornes.
But, let me guess, Kane has no contacts at the club he played 300 games for recently, and where he is best mates with Carr, Ken and Tredders?

Now, that doesn't mean he is going, just that there's rumours he might be.
If you don't want to hear any rumours about players leaving your club, maybe don't come into places where you will see them.

We all like to make fun of Rucci, just like we like to make fun of other SA identities like Kym Dillion when he came out and said that Rankine was coming back to Adelaide, but they are part of the SANFL Mafia. They are all tied up with the SA football community and they love to gossip about rumours.

They don't always pan out correctly, but where there is smoke there usually is fire. Wether that fire is real, in that the player is leaving, or its put out there by his management to try and get more money, either way there's a reason his name is getting mentioned.

That list is an assumption with no verifiable facts and it states that Butters and Rozee are believed to be in the best players paid category NOT top tier where it mentions 1.2 million or more.

As I said prior though, Butters would of only been on around 650k to 750k during that contract extension with bonuses obviously. Maybe, just maybe it might have been 800k at most but nowhere near the previous mention of 1 million. He will be definitely worth that though from his hard work and next deal.

1) Accuse the other side of the discussion of making up the numbers.
2) Make up your own numbers out of nowhere, with absolutely zero sources and state them as fact (this isn't the same as 1 because you did it).
3) Respond to their questioning of your very generous interpretation of your clubs position with the "front-loading" and/or "CBA increase" clauses. (Yes - a club can have frontloaded contracts every season indefinitely).
4) Sit there smugly in your chair as if you just achieved something.
5) (Optional) add a laugh emoji to their reply pointing out this fact to put the final nail in their coffin.

Not great - but Trent Cotchin was just as bad if not worse at the same age. Trent had 9 touches in an elimination final loss against us and 16 the year before in an elimination final loss V Port.

Butters still has a lot of time to become a good finals player.
