Fredrick is a forward
Yes and I was replying to a few people who tried to justify his poor possession average by telling me he was a permanent fwd for his first 4-5 finals
So he’s played double the finals in a similar position for half the goals
Don’t get me wrong he is an elite player in home and away.
1 goal and 4 assists in 9 finals as an attacking midfielder is below par.
So to play multiple finals as a permanent fwd makes it horrific.

Kane being best mates with Carr who doesn't return his calls and Tredders who doesn't speak to him says everything about the reliability of your "word".

My word? I haven't spoken to Kane, but if you don't think he knows what's going on at his old club you are kidding yourself. Josh Carr isn't taking his calls for a week's because of what he said about the coaching job? Really? You think that discredits his ability to get information out of the club?
Where does his brother Chad work?
Give it up.
You are spending all this time trying to downplay me saying the rumours of Zak leaving are all over place, while literally the rumours are now being talked all over the media since I posted this.

Convincing yourself that there is no speculation about Zak leaving Port is just ridiculous.

I wouldn't use the term permanent fwd, he's always been a mid/fwd. Obviously not a CBA mid in his early years, but he was always used around the ball rather than a dedicated small

But yes you're correct his recent finals have been mostly poor

To put it in perspective he’s ave over .5 goals a game in home and away
He’s averaging a bit over a third of that in finals
Fyfe has kicked 7 goals in 11 finals and besides his durability the biggest criticism of him is he doesn’t kick goals.

I completely understand what you're saying, i just don't know why you're harping on so much about it.

If he decides to go at the end of the year, you would be thinking two firsts for him, and you wouldn't want two picks in the teens for him, so one would want to be a top 10 at a minimum. If the two sides that are spoken about with him, Western Bulldogs and Geelong, you can't see those having the picks to keep Port happy.

There aren’t many ladder predictors with us in the 8 right now.

Given he’s still contracted and one of the best players in the comp, even if he wanted to leave early a club would have to offer something astronomical to get him released you would imagine.

You don’t take unders for someone at his level while contracted just for good faith.

Would be a minimum 1 top 5 pick and another top 10 and another decent pick.

Either way, have more faith in C4 than anyone else when it comes to our list management so would strongly be believing he’s staying.
Holding players at your club contracted or not that don’t want to be there rarely ends well. If he asks for a trade port will reluctantly make it happen

And rarely do players of Butters calibre leave a club while contracted.

A club will have to pay an absolute ransom for anyone at his level.

Look at the Dees already posturing over Pickett and Butters is at a level above him.

Take a hike pal.you have serious form peddling negative stuff about Port. Why don’t you worry about your own club and the players about to bail out from that binfire.

Not according to C4[2]Yo`DooR and his record of being correct is pretty good
He is pretty good with his goss.
There is however alot of smoke around Adelaide that he is looking to leave. I expect the jungle drums to beat alot louder as the year progresses.

I actually hope he doesn't leave, as I think the holy trinity of Butters, Rozee and JHF has the ability to go down as one of the best midfield combos.

After the Houston debacle we would have to be one of if not the softest target in the league so why wouldn't you try and get him ?

Depends what Geelong get for SDK

Owns a fair bit of land out in the West of Melbourne and is a very much a Kenny Hinkley fan. I wouldn't be suprsed if he looks for a move at the end of the year.

His management have again reiterated to Port that he wants to stay.

… this was pre- the weekend though 😂
Which tells me he isnt married to being a part of The Ken Hinkley Football Club. So Port should (but wont) piss off the Ken Hinkley Farewell Tour asap.
