Bloke legitimately just makes stuff up and tries to will it into existence. You’d get similar insight if you put one of us on a screen and asked us what sort of players we’d want our clubs to target.

One of my best friends knows him, and one of his best mates is a former Port player. So backed in his opinion at the time the thread was made. He still doesn't think he's going, but admittedly it's not like he is super tight with him.

When I put the thread up I used the Speculation tab, as that is what it is.
Talk about him thinking of going home has been swirling around Adelaide football circles for awhile now, and as such I thought it should go up.
I think I even said it would start to appear more in the media, which it has.
I have never said he is going, as I don't know what's in his head, but generally where there is smoke there is fire.
One of the other reasons I put it up is that alot of times this gets put out in the public by their managers to get more money from the club they are at, but Butters is already highly paid and Port would pay him well what he is worth, so his decision would not be based on money alone.

I don't think any of the panel members realised Collingwood has no picks this year, when it came time to discuss them "Oh yeah the Pies, no picks, they are Collingwood though".
Exactly why us caving like wet paper last year was so bad they look at that trade and actually think it was fair

with the new draft rules (such as teams able to trade their picks from 2025, 2026 & 2027) Essendon will have to give up more for Harley (and there is the new trade point value change)
