It seems like if you are favourite or a decent chance of winning the Brownlow this season, fair chance you'll get injured and miss weeks.

Too many decent players this year are either out with injury now or have been during the year.

Is the competition's top individual award a curse?
 
Ablett the big one to miss any noteworthy length of time through injury - Fyfe/Rockliff/Harvey suspended, Pendlebury/Heppell/Kennedy 1-2 weeks max, Selwood played sore but played, the 2nd tier Gray, Lewis, Boak, Cotchin have been fit all year more or less. Surely Watson wasn't in contention before his injury - decent season but wasn't up top 10 in my votes (maybe lower regions of top 10), maybe Hannebery you can make an argument for.

You do realise games missed means nothing when suspension makes a player ineligible yeah? :drunk:
