Bold

Would be surprised if this didn't happen

B: Hampton, Patfull, Haynes
HB: Scully, Davis, Shaw
C: Coniglio, Griffen, Whitfield
HF: Palmer, Stewart, WHE
F: Tomlinson, Cameron, Smith
Foll: Mumford, Ward, Treloar
Bench: Shiel, Greene, Phillips/Downie/Lobb
Sub: Kelly

IanW General Giant any other Giant fans help me with your best 22?

Think it's starting to look solid though - Patton out hurts combined with Jaksch and Boyd possible replacements leaving, but Stewart played well v WB. I think the only weak spots in that team (not including experience) are the full-back line, and Stewart at CHF won't get it every week. Good side though. Would back them to finish above us.

Edited for my opinions.

Patfull now belongs in that backline, replacing Corr. Haynes could be replaced with Corr, Mohr or Buntine.

I've dropped the Buggster completely, putting Scully on the field and putting one of our backup rucks on the bench - otherwise, if Mummy goes down, it's Tomlinson in the ruck.

McCarthy is an alternative to Stewart in the forwards, but I think Stewart will be Just Fine at CHF. Thanks, Eddie.

I'm not worried about who starts and who is on the bench with the mids by the way, and a number of the pockets and flankers could probably be switched, but who really cares who plays where these days :)

But yeah, pretty good

1. Jake Stringer to win Western Bulldogs best and fairest
2. North Melbourne top 6
3. LiamJones to kick most goals at Carlton

1. One of the highest profile players in the AFL will be struck down by a season ending injury - how bold is that!?
2. The AFL will backflip and allow players to supplement income with lucrative Third Party contracts without impacting on salary cap.
3. James Hird will finally admit he was wrong

1. None of Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon or Richmond to make the eight

2. All bottom four teams beat a side that plays finals.

3. Neither Mick Malthouse or Nathan Buckley get sacked.

None of these are bold!

Some of these aren't really bold statements.....and seriously, what's with the predictions "freo to miss 8 and Lyon to leave/sacked" - one too many of the same prediction for my liking!! :p

1. Gold Coast and West Coast injury free and to make the 8
2. Hawthorn misses on top 4
3. A top 4 side will go out in the finals in straight sets again
