Lever better not be another fail.
Give the kid time. He's come off a knee reco.
Sure he's not the complete package but he has a key element in his game that is so hard to find...aggression and a willingness to take the game on.
The SANFL is a tough league, the players hit hard and they're men who want to win just as much as the next bloke. These blokes take pride in their game and they'll take on the challenge of playing against an AFL listed player with enthusiasm.
Go to a game and see Lever for yourself.See how hard he puts in, it's not for want of trying. You might have a touch more empathy.

remember also that most of the blokes he'll be playing on at a key position spot are seasoned sanfl players. very rarely will he be playing on another young kid.

eddy, wundke, ainger, newton, bruggemann, johnston, butcher. these guys are big, strong guys. it'll be tough for someone his size at the beginning.

For Friday's game against Glenelg:

IN: Kerridge, Schoenmakers, Johncock, Smart, Warmington, Ribbons
OUT: Grigg, Lyons, Crouch (AFL)
Underlined are AFL listed

Expect three players from the AFL team to jump back in to the SANFL team ahead of the game, at the expense of the development kids

It's going to bucket down tonight. Anyone going to brave the conditions and head to the game tonight?

Glenelg get a goal from the ump fully missing the throw. Kerridge has limped off with what I think might be a corky. Osborn got a whack in the head and he's off at the moment too.
The SANFL site is down at the moment so we're relying on you to keep stats on each player too please!
