Hope the actually show the goodes highlights on the screen

Should of won 3 brownlows
Remarkable he won his 2 brownlows with only 26 and 22 votes. Ablett had seasons of 30, 28, 26, 24, 23, 22, 22 and only won 1. Just like becoming a premiership player you can have all the talent but it also takes a huge amount of luck, have to be in the right place at the right time

EDIT Ablett won twice, I can't even count

I thought his best year was the one he didnt win, 2008 or 2009 cant remember

But i was not going to take one of the others off him.

Fascinating hearing Goodes speak about doing his knee in the 2012 grand final, he said having done the PCL in his other knee back in 2004 helped him because he knew what he could and couldn't do. He is right, the Hawks were a fantastic team and we had to play out of our skins to beat them that day. Puts the last couple of years in perspective, perhaps we have been too hard on the team.

Anyone else tear up about Goodesy leaving tonight

A little, but he's had such a long career, it had to come to an end some time and we all knew this was going to be his last year

There's knowing and then there's knowing that one of the greatest players I have seen wear the red & white won't be returning next year.

Just ended the wrong way in some respects

To be honest I don't really care anymore, as s**t as it was, nothing that happened this year has diminished his standing in any way that actually matters.
