NFL 2015 NFL - Week 12 (Thanksgiving)

For those of you lacking year 7 comprehension skills, I'll explain again my point.

Cam currently has the luxury of not having to win games. That's because of two factors that have nothing to do with him (schedule & primarily his D).

Like all such QB's (see Russell Wilson for another example), without that dominance from the D they are forced to win games with their arm. That requires more than having a good arm too. I used the example of Freeman because Tampa Bay knew that without a stout D he would struggle to win games throwing the ball even though he had decent receivers. They couldn't fix that and weekly he was exposed.

Now if Panthers fans would like to show me examples of games where Cam hasn't had the support of the D to win a games then you might have a point.

Put him in the situation Freeman was facing and he'd probably perform similarly.

I can show countless examples of Cam staging, scrambling to the sidelines or sliding late to draw penalties, missing wide open receivers . . . I could go on . . . all of which tell me he's a) an A grade f/wit & b) not a very good QB.

Note, none of this is discussing how Freeman would have gone at Carolina. But I'd bet London to a brick his record would have been better playing with a dominate D - like it is for ALL QB's.

Sorry, year 7 was obviously being too generous.

Just cause im loving how salty youre getting and want a response...

On point, on time, every time, in crunch time...Josh Freeman, eat your heart out.

LOL.

You're using a game where the D dominated the opposition in the 4th qtr to prove your point?

OK. You've proved your comprehension skills are lacking.

D Dominated the last quarter, hmm ok, cool, yet we were down by 9 points early on in the 4th quarter. Jesus youre thick. You realise when youre down you need to score to win yea?

Won the game off his arm, against one of the leagues better D's at home. Brees could only wish to perform a drive like that in that building with the game on his arm. .

Damn

If only the Saints were playing the Panthers THIS week
Next week.

Cam only beat us the last time because their D picked off McCown late in the game.

Against our D and our backup QB he still needed the D to get him over the line.

Wow, you truly are clueless.

Amari Cooper dropped two passes against Detroit and according to Profootballfocus, now has 10 drops for the season -- tying him for the most in the NFL.

Trade him.

....to the Vikings.

Rams WR Stedman Bailey was shot in the head and hip in South Florida on Tuesday evening and is in the hospital.

Bailey was reportedly the passenger in a car with his cousin, the driver, and two younger relatives. Bailey was shot two times in the head, and is in critical, but stable, condition. The driver is in critical condition. Early reports are the injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening and Bailey will undergo surgery in the morning. Bailey is away from the team on a four-game suspension, which is why he's in Florida at the moment. Our thoughts are with Bailey and his family.

Lurie only has himself to blame. Mismanagement on his part to let a college-NFL-noob control so much of the football operations, and allow the gutting of so much talent. Even if he isn't a football guy, as a business guy, he should've realized you don't get rid of your assets.

Appearing on Sirius XM NFL Radio, ESPN's Adam Schefter said "momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Chip Kelly return to Philadelphia."

Schefter added that the two sides are "sick of each other." The Eagles have greatly underachieved this year, compiling a listless 4-6 record while playing in arguably the league's worst division. Kelly's offense has been particularly disappointing as the Eagles have averaged just 22.9 points per game, well down from last year's 29.6. A host of college teams will be interested in Kelly if he becomes available this offseason.

Suspended free agent RB Joseph Randle was arrested at a Kansas casino Tuesday night.

He's facing several charges, including felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law enforcement officer, battery, and disorderly conduct. Randle was reportedly told to leave the casino because he was too drunk. On the way out, he spit on the floor and "went berserk" on the cops. Randle has a history of legal troubles and is still in custody on $25,000 bail.
