Captain hindsight, but opting to bat first was a truly awful decision by Clarke. Needs to come under scrutiny for it.

Just go the tonk Mitch.
Don't sweat it everyone, this is why you have a five test series. Just need a draw and a win from here. Easily done. :)
One England implosion and one rain affected draw is very possible. :)

Needs to come under scrutiny for his batting, not a pretty standard decision to bat first. Not as if it was a minefield it's just been arrogant and lazy batting.

Can we actually start selecting test match cricketers?
Or at least develop some

Who is not a test cricketer? I think Mitch Marsh isn't. Neither is Starc. Siddle is what Australian cricket stands for, heart, desire, willing to fight. He needs to come in for Starc. Mitch Marsh may need to go, but for who? Shane Watson? No, probably Marsh. We have not got a pure batsmen to bring in. Which is so dumb. We may be playing a batsmen short.

Would not have made a difference. Our batting would still suck

People have a short memory of Siddle. He was woeful like Haddin for over 12 months. He'll be more economical then Starc but their will just as much pressure on haze and Johnson.

While we bowled shite the batters set this loss up yesterday. The same in Cardiff. They need to be flogged.

Our bowlers are not the problem here. We came into the series carrying known problems. They dropped two of them after the first loss (I wouldn't put it past them to bring Watto back) but the experienced players in the middle order have been dismal.
