If it comes close to matching the last test, it'll be worth the sleepless nights.

Smith and Labs cant fail again. They're due.
Form is temporary, class is permanent, when Smith is out of form he looks ordinary, Marnus is in a Greg Chappell type of rut he’s not batting badly he’s just getting out. Green is a worry for me

England will either be breathing fire or capitulate under the pressure realising that we aren't Pakistan

Will stokes get his road or Anderson his green top

England have had a lot to say in the lead up to the 2nd test - which surprised me. Australia seems calm and collected.

Australia's shortest road to victory, as it has been since i can remember, is to bat first, get 450+ and then roll England quickly. Rinse and repeat.

Broads lost the plot completely
"What broke the silence was Brendon McCullum and all the coaching staff going around every single player congratulating them for their efforts because we were in the field a long time — 116 overs in the first innings, 92 in the second. We were pretty tired, but they were praising us for an incredible effort. They couldn’t ask any more of us, they said."

There's a potential 450 overs in a test match, and these guys winner about being stuck out there for 200....

Modern players, T20 and all that. But being in the field for a s single day used to be an expected outcome. Now's it's "woe me, we're so tired 😩".

It's pretty insane that this is the benchmark for being keep in the field, around 50% of the available overs

From memory he was missed for a duck in the first innings.

Has been getting a lot of starts without pushing on.
Still think he needs to be more positive.

Do worry about greens mindset at test level. He basically bats with a mindset to punish the bad balls and keep out everything else. This means he gets bogged down a lot.

Would love to see him come at 4/300 and really go for it but even in that situation he still wants to build an innings.

Definitely won’t be a green top, but the overhead conditions should help the bowlers a bit more.

Basically the same as Marnus/Ussie/Steve Smith mindset, he's just not as good and bats at 6.
