Have to be still favourites for sure. Were missing Picone, Cotchett, Livingston, Davis, Hayes, CLarke, Matheson, Murphy, Clarke, Wilson along with McDonald and Taylor who look done for the year. Swans had a handful out too by all reports but not the number and caliber mentioned above. Kerang...
What should happen is this:
Central Murray merge with Golden Rivers and have a Division 1 & Division 2. Bottom 2 from Div 1 (being all central murray in first year) to be relegated and top 2 from Golden rivers to go up. Yes the issue would be juniors, but if junior numbers are stuggling, why not...
Righto...with 3 rounds to go it seems the 5 is well and truly set, unless something freakish happens and swan hill grab fifth at the expense of tytynder (swans need to beat Kerang and dogs in final round and hope dogs lose to cohuna and make up %).
My tip is the obvious: a Kerang Cohuna GF...
Huge game on the weekend with the Swans taking on the Eagles. Could well decide the 5th spot on the ladder. With X Moloney out due to state commitments, one would think the Swans may be up against it
Yes a big game at Cohuna...my prediction is kerang will be far too strong. Kelm will most likely play as VFL have the bye also.
From last years GF side they have gained Robertson, Livingston, Bray, Cotchett and Kobi Wilson and only lost a couple! The $1.70 odds are pretty good if you ask me
Any practice matches on this weekend? Who is playing who in the coming weeks?
Anyone heard of recruits looking the goods for season 2013. I did hear Justin Davies looks very good at the Swans. Given he played 1 quarter last year, he is a big recruit for them
Yes and I would suggest they would be heavy favorites to go back to back. Troy Coates is coaching them, xav Maloney swan hill, filo/Alexander lalbert, I presume jack will still do the coach out tooleybuc
HUGE HUGE HUGE 2 weeks coming up for Swan Hill. Tyntynder this week, Woorinen they next. If they can come away with both games, they have a run home of Balranald, Lalbert, Tooleytang, Cohuna. The fate is in their hands and I would be assuming there would be some nervous sides if they came up...
raiders still confident they can do the job come september! It seems they should make the 5 and they could possibly do what swan hill did last year! Cannot wait for the finals
Wouldnt have thought Kerang would be underdogs against Woorinen. I give the tiges a chance but Kerang should be favourites in my book. Flooging Barham.....and woora lost to cohuna....just saying!
NNW for me...Could be a long year for Boga! Already looking to 2013 apparently
KB just over Swan Hill
Tyntynder also just against an improved Kangas
Woorinen to quick and classy for TM
Eagles to win by 100 or more..
Luke Livingston was at kerang a year or so ago too. Drafted at number 4 behind riewoldt, kozzy and didak! Did shane harvey play in Central Murray or Golden Rivers?
Daniel ward (ex Melbourne) coaches mallee eagles. David spriggs played for kerang last season. Not sure about this season, as did Heath culpitt who played for barham. Lance Oswald played for Nyah last two years who was on north melbs supp list and dominated the TAC cup. Darryl white also played...
I know of 2 very talented players coming, but could it be the same as last year when they had players coming from melb, but most ended up playing twos. Woorinen will improve this year, mainly due to their kids getting another good preseason and maturing a bit more, as there is plenty of talent...
