I can't quite work out why the Crows supporters are in such raptures over Fages. He hasn't actually achieved anything yet, except I guess not being Steven Trigg.

He doesnt have that Hackney High keep them at a distance mentality. I reckon Fagan is a breath of fresh air and whilst he might not have made any big hits over the boundary yet, he is racking up the score with some nice deflections and flicks picking up the ones and twos.

I know for a fact our reserved seating is close to being nailed and closed off. Which is really awesome for us. Not for walk up GA's though. It's probably been said here many times, but from next season on, we need to turn more of those GA seats into season seats.........then we are in the money. And if we are having a season from hell, sell the experience.

Bring the country people. I have so many Port supporting mates that aren't members, its stupid. Sell the club to them!!! I cant ive tried. ( Nah cant get to games i have to prune my roses )

I know we are looking wide and far over the globe, but don't forget the backyard. Get the country people on the road. Sell sell sell Port Adelaide.

And lets not do drugs people.

Give the ******s at norwood an AFL license. When they go under, hopefully they drag that pile of s**t competition the sanfl with them down the toilet instead of floating around like the unwanted turds they all are.

Nah. They had their chance and they blew it. Let them rot for eternity.

Nail on the head, I come in contact with a lot of people from around the country at work and I speak to a lot of people about footy (and other things) and a lot of Crows fans were sick of Trigg and just wanted to move on (even Trigg apologists). I spoke to a Carlton member who had intelligent opinions on the game and when I asked him about his thoughts on Trigg he deflected by saying Carlton have a history of poaching people and when pressed further I sensed he didn't want say anything because of the love for his club and that he really wanted to believe.

Here's something weird: since March 9, we've signed up exactly 2,282 members. Adelaide has signed up 2,828 members.

Funny how it's the exact same digits, just 828 instead of 282...must be just a coincidence :)

You suggesting they can't even copy us properly ? :)

I'm not suggesting anything ;) But I've done in the past when fudging numbers - just take a known figure and scramble it to make it seem legit.

I mean, the chances of them signing up the exact amount of members legitimately that would make anyone look at the number, look at ours and go "Naaaah, couldn't be, could it?" are pretty high, right?

Right?

Part of me wonders whether Adelaide dropped Sando to protect their membership numbers. The HYPE has been strong this pre-season.

That was the reason alluded to by Ricciuto in the aftermath of the sacking.

Those suffering OCD would've preferred we wait for another 6 sign ups.

Our membership growth is phenomenal but Crows signing 60k members with 43k x 11 game members is an incredible achievement considering where things were at 3-4 years ago.

What both clubs' current membership tallies indicate is how much the SANFL took the football public for granted with their cheapskate "vision" of locking everything into their concrete fort to milk every last drop they could from that investment.

When you're sitting at AO in the oppressive shadow the Max Basheer stand, watching Wee Licker parade around the fringes wearing his oversized Zegna suits, while you're paying quadruple the value for a watered down RTD, of which the proceeds head solely to the SMAFL, just remember ... these campaigners fought tooth and nail AGAINST the move to AO.

#neverforget

Here's one of America's favourite coincidences. Did you know that the assassins of JFK and Abraham Lincoln had the same number of letters in their names? Lee Harvey Oswald(15) and John Wilkes Booth(15).

So does Christopher Pyne (15)!

Both their Vice Presidents and post-assassination successors were named Johnson.

Lincoln was shot at Ford's Theatre. Kennedy was shot in a Lincoln manufactured by Ford.

Spooky s**t, homie.
