On a happier note . It was a slightly different session today from normal. No real match sims but plenty of short sims - passing into the forward line from a stoppage, lots of ruck work (noticed Suban featuring prominently) and lots of shots on goal. De Luca is a shocking kick on goal - one shot from an easy angle about 30m out and it went out of bounds. Crowley joine in the full session today and looked good. Neale and A.Pearce spent some time by themselves hand balling to one another (short distance) with a trainer harassing one of them then the other.

No real stand outs, just a good solid session. No rehab group out on the ground but saw Dawson, Ballantyne, Hurley, Mzungu, Barlow & Taberner wandering in and out of the rooms.

Incidentally I heard that Taberner was out on the ground yesterday practising goal kicking.

Any news on Harry Rheems. and the pastry, he didn't hurt himself too much?

I spoke to Harry the other day and he is doing OK however he is filthy that some west coke scumbag mod has suspended him from posting. He was carded on the main board for sticking up from the heinous comments directed at Crowley.

Ritzenhein's foot pain turned out to be a "stress reaction," basically a wannabe stress fracture. Thanks to an anti-gravity treadmill that could support as much as 80 percent of his weight in a harness system, he ran 130 miles per week and barely skipped a beat with his training.

For the rest of us, there's pool walking, swimming, and (possibly) elliptical trainers. One bottom line is that if it hurts, don't do it. Another is that this is one of those arenas where you really do need to trust your doctor and physical therapist. But for some runners, that's often harder than training.

30km a day, no days off?

Ballard, Hurley stress fractures - Taberner achilles problem - Langdon - who knows what - SNOS, Mzungu Barlow suban - hamstrings

I am telling you all - the players are being flogged and it will get worse as the season unfolds

It's because out playing list is too old!

Oh hang on... all of our 30+ year olds have played and are available round 1... carry on.
