Thats cause Hampson is more agile and can jump higher than Maric in ruck contests. Minson is a similar type ruckman to Maric so I guess that's why Hampson dominated the ruck hit outs today as well. If you could be sure Hampson was going to be the No 1 ruck at Richmond he wouldn't be a bad punt I reckon

At the stoppages yes, around the ground he did very little, so the usual really. He's a very good tap ruckman, just can't get involved in general play

Was rested alot in the second half but looked a very decent footballer capable of winning the ball and getting involved. His 85 came from 65% TOG. Good enough for a starting forward spot if given a run based on how he played with the obvious caveat being how he will be used when they get their full compliment of players back.
