I wonder how long the first round will take!?

I think it has to be limited to two hours for the sake of Fox Footy, but if it goes to pick 28 or 29, it could be a longer night than the ICC World Cup final :flushed:

Tiser:
EARLY LOOK: It’s not as bad as it looks, Port fans. Once picks have been absorbed matching academy and father-son bids, Port Adelaide is likely to enter the draft in the 50s on Tuesday night. With father-son prospect Rome Burgoyne a part of next year’s crop, a move back into the top-end of this year’s draft using any of its 2024 selections appears unlikely, making it two consecutive years without a pick inside the top 35, after two busy trade periods. There might still be a few talented SANFL prospects available when the Power is on the clock, with Sturt small Loch Rawlinson believed to be in the club’s sights but, as it has repeatedly showed, it won’t just look locally for a bargain. Port has shown interest in Vic Metro defender Matt Carrol and GWV Rebels small Lachie Charleson, who booted 17 goals in the final Coates League matches, throughout the year.

LATE MAIL: Speedy, skilful Sturt small-forward Loch Rawlinson is one to look out for late on the second night – or in Wednesday’s rookie draft. Same goes for fellow small forwards Jack Callinan, the son of former Adelaide player Ian, and Tom Anastasopoulos from the Geelong Falcons.

We've been linked with every small forward in the draft.

Imagine if we drafted Philactides and Anastosopoulos. Apart from giving Brian Taylor an aneurysm, Papa G will be in heaven.

Anastasopoulos looks alright too. Some small forward options late in the draft.

Charleson plays like a genuine ye olde time rover.

I heard Twomey say North will bid on Walter with pick 3 rather than pick 2. What a piss weak football club.

Gift draft picks do not come without strings.

There's been talk Adelaide were going to trade picks 10 and 14/20 for West Coast's 2024 first round and crows supporters think they are getting ripped off.

FFS it's likely to be the #1 pick, what drugs are they on?
