That sucks. Liked this guy as a backup, good competitor who I reckon could have done it again.

Still remember when he come in for Bellchambers and we were all shocked what it was like to have a ruckman actually compete and contribute on the field.

I suspect his true quality would be better reflected as a 120 game player.

Problem was that for a journeyman back up, his body just could not stay together consistently enough for long enough.

been a warrior and tried hard all the time. Not the greatest athlete or skill set but always gives 100% unlike some of the pea hearts in our team

Problem was that for a journeyman back up, his body just could not stay together consistently enough for long enough.

If he plays every game from debut this weekend would be 250.

Across AFL and VFL/NEAFL he played 155 of 250 and that's not taking into account the countless times he didn't play when he could have as the obligatory emergency ruck and that VFL got cancelled for a season and a half within that timeframe.

He has really held the ruck together this year. Would have been dire without him this year.

Only knock on his game for me is contested marking (like most of our players) but been good on the whole.

Lets our recruiting team look for another ruck. Who is rucking in the VFL, or is the cupboard bare?
