Cam Ellis Yolmen has previously played a game for the AFC. The image above is wrong.

Also, congratulations to Kyle Cheney on his first game in the tri-colours!

Going to be a close one methinks!

Here's a fun drinking game for the punters at home - every time Danger's contract status is mentioned in the commentary, drink. Just make sure you packed enough grog. ;)

Image is taken from the AFl website. On the AFC stats page, it says he's played 1 game, but doesnt list a debut. I wonder if it hasnt bee counted because he was the sub in his only game.

Adelaide has a poor home record in Round 1 and 2. Since beating Fremantle in R2 1998, Adelaide's only opening home wins have come in 2002, 2003, 2008, 2011, and 2012. 3 of those 5 wins were night games, with 2003 and 2008 day games. Adelaide are 5-11 in Round 1 and Round 2 home games since 1999. This is their first meeting vs North in an home opening game.

We haven't won rd1 since 2009, the indication is if Goldstein is getting beaten, we lose.

Our talls could trouble their defence as much as vise versa especially if thomson goes to betts like most are predicting

Walker 195 cm
Jenkins 199 cm
Lynch 193 cm

With danger 186 cm, CEY 190 cm all rotating through

With the emergence of Wright in finals as a decent medium sized defender, he'll go to Betts, Tippet to Walker, Thompson to Jenkins and play the intercept role and Firrito on Lynch which will be a battle of strength. We have a lot of tall timber in Waite, Petrie, Brown, but they'll be rotated around a bit, its the smalls of Ziebell, Harvey, Wells, Higgins, Thomas and Turner rotating through the forward line that'll cause the most grief, though l hope big carrot top benny brown has a ripper game, such a great lad.

Best of luck today, no injuries and a cracking contest.

I want Adelaide to win, but North Melbourne will probably be too strong for them.

Not being able to close the roof when it rains ? :D
Funnily enough with the roof debacle, the rain actually slowed the cats momentum if anything and gave us a chance at the end. It was Scott's whinge that made it lolworthy.

Adelaide by 30 points. North don't do Adelaide in Adelaide well. There is also the round 1 factor.
