Yes, it is a very strange call.

Currently the WA borders are SHUT. Anyone wanting to get in needs to jump through 20 flaming hoops................and not have the last name McGuire.

I would really like to understand who the security firm advising the AFL are and what they are basing their advice on.

So logically for a terrorist attack to happen they would need to be already based in WA. Interesting the WA and federal govt has been silent on the issue. So now we have a private security firm advising the AFL on national security measures.

The AFL seems to be relying on its security advisors. Not the states or Feds. That may be wrong but that is the narrative being reported ATM.

If the AFL have intel on a terrorism threat, they HAVE to share that with Australian federal and state police and government agencies. The respective agencies then would look at the "threat" and decide if its real or bogus.

The AFL cant just declare a terror threat when all of the official australian agencies and government say otherwise. Doesnt add up.
