yeah no s**t you're 17 and still young - nothing to do with the legality of age of consent or anything, but some are late starters - took me quite a while to enjoy alcohol

That's a much better source than how this rumour started at least which at first was about a SA draftee but then changed to Bailey Smith post-draft due to others going interstate
