At least you’re honest about it, Pam.

You may not know it but Bomberos in Spanish means firefighters

On occasion we put out a new calendar to raise money for the underprivileged

… but we’ve also done table-top dancing at bucks parties

I was quoting a phenomena that Soraya Roberts located/identified.
It is honest, in that people are commodified no matter the sexual identity.
The gaze of consumption.
That is contemporary life. The value is shallow and limited mostly. Disposable.
Like the meat left lying around after the BBQ.
So combining the leftovers with a Soylent Green scenario I made a meal out of it.....ça m'amuse. C'est mon humour sec.

No I didn't know the Spanish 'Bomberos' but I do know the French, 'Pompiers'.
Every year at the start of Summer on the eve of Bastille Day, 14th of July (or on the night of the 14th) there is the 'Bals des Pompiers' (the Fireman's Ball) at every fire station in Paris and elsewhere in France but mainly it's a Parisian thing.
So the fire station has a huge party and the public buys tickets, which is their fundraising..so you buy a ticket in your Quartier whether you go or not. It's all ages inclussive, goes pretty much all night.
Wild fun, music, dancing, partying and all the firemen dressed smartly in their uniforms.....frankly much better than any beefcake callender and far more affective and interactive.
I've been to 2 back in the 90's.
Reckon DemurePrincess would love it. The Pompier uniforms fit beautifully!
Far more interesting than a faux chippendale's firefighter! They're the bomb.
