Day was taken by Gold Coast who had a bunch of early picks and could afford to gamble on a player who had showed glimpses of greatness - mainly on the back of him being the most athletic thing since ever.
Jack watts made a mockery of the u/18 comp and was the top 2 pick always.
Very different. Day was speculative. Watts never delivered on his underage capability.

If he genuinely only wants to play where his folks tell him to, or if the family are happier with him on the Drug Coast rather than safely home in ADL if it means being at Port, then it sounds like the kid has some serious off field issues to deal with.
