Anderson has no problem with sledging, aside from when it's directed towards him or if it occurs when England are losing.

I think there is a more tactful way to sledge/insult someone without swearing and insinuating violence. As others have said the words coming from Clarke's mouth carry no meaning.

Ive taken on board the comments about the altercation . We all know Anderson likes doing sledging too ,its no secret. Ultimately its been given coverage because Clarkes words got caught on the stump mic. If that doesnt happen ,then his best bud Shane Warne wouldnt have gone to twitter and blabbed something that Anderson is supposed to have said.

It will be interesting to see how it all pans out in the next match. If Australia need a last wicket stand and Mitch Johnson is batting I imagine things could get tasty.
